The 2025 Babe Ruth season is quickly approaching!

We are looking forward to a great regular season and capping it off with another run at a New England championship with our League All Star Team .

Last year 2024 was the first time our league had fielded a team in 12 Years. The team played hard and managed to gain 1 victory in 3 games .

Pitch Count Rule #1
Pitchers will be limited to 100 pitches per game or 7 innings per week  


A pitcher may not begin an inning with 100   pitches or more pitches recorded

Player or. Coach ejection from game #2

Code Of Conduct Adendum   for Players and Coaches On field ejections

Approved 4-0.     By. Law

If Player or Coach or. Other Person or Persons is ejected from a Game,  The Player or Coach or other shall be suspended from the following Game.

With added provisions. 

A.  The Coach or player should Leave the Area  of the Field.  Leave the Premises.

B…The League President  shall add additional penalty or suspension upon further case review , deems the incident detrimental to the welfare of the League and its players and or coaches or Umpires.

If a Town currently does not have a babe Ruth Program. , a player from that town becomes a free agent and can play anywhere.

# 3A  The Player Town Rule.   
 Players shall play for there Home Town   Pending , A player may get a waiver from  home town team to Leave and play for another town. Thru email or other written confirmation from coach or team representative.

#4.  Umpires.  And Payment.  
Teams split cost

1. Umpire.  $93.75

2 umpires.  $ 62.50

#5. Baseballs.   Home Teams should provide game Balls

How to Register a Team ..

To register a team for the 2024 season:

Coaches must complete Background Check, Awareness Course, and Coaches Course.    https://www.baberuthleague.org/background-checks.aspx3. Once the above is completed, an official of each town organization must create a Sports Engine Account to manage player rosters. SportsEngine.com works hand in hand with Babe Ruth as a platform to more easily roster players into the national database.    Note: Babe Ruth League, Inc. rostered player deadline is June 1.

*Although the deadline for team registration is April 25th, please register teams as you go. Do not wait until the day of if you can avoid it. If you have enough players to field a team (12) then register one team and then work to put together a second team. When you have enough for 2 teams (24) then register to second team and so on.

Umpires: Teams split cost

One Umpire is $93.75 Teams split cost at home plate meeting

Two Umpires $ 62.50 Each Team pays 1 ump. At home plate meeting

Baseballs: Home team will equip umpire with baseballs at the beginning of game.

Uniforms: All team members must be in similar uniforms.  Teams are responsible to cover costs of uniforms
